The boat leaves the dock at the scheduled time. Example: If you reserve the 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. trip, the boat leaves the dock at 8 a.m. and returns at noon. Please arrive approx. a half hour before departure to give yourself enough time to park and check-in. Specific spots on the boat are on a first-come, first-served basis.

You may bring along your own equipment but if you do not want to or do not have any, we include all bait and tackle on every trip. Tackle includes hooks and sinkers. Fishing rods are available for FREE.

Yes, you may bring along a small cooler to pack your foodstuff in. We do have a snack bar on board Angler VI that serves food, snacks, and beverages.

We are a family-oriented, kid-friendly business. Therefor no hard liquor of any kind is allowed on board. But a few beers are ok. If you show up with a large cooler filled with beer you will be asked to put it back in your vehicle.

Reservation are highly recommended. Although we do take walk-ons, a reservation secures your spot on board. Summer weekends almost always fill up. And sometimes a weekday may be too light. By making a reservation your information gives us the ability to contact you in case of a cancellation. We do not want you to make an unnecessary trip down to the boat.

No, we do have a minimum number of people we need to go. We determine the number of people we get from our reservation system the evening before a morning trip and the morning of an afternoon trip. If we do not reach our minimum number of people to go we contact those that did make a reservation and cancel.

We have limited space on our boats and a reservation is a commitment to attend a trip. If you need to cancel please do so 24 hours in advance which gives us enough time to fill the spot that you took up. We take cash as payment on the boat. When you make a reservation a credit card is required only to hold your spot and will be charged and refunded when you arrive at the boat.

Passenger safety is always our #1 priority. The captains of our vessel have many years of experience and will cancel a trip if necessary but not very often. For the most part, we sail regularly even if the weather is a bit turbulent. Summertime showers usually come and go quickly. If a shower does arise we have plenty of covered areas to stay dry. It is never a bad idea to bring along a slicker top or rain jacket. Check the local weather so you may keep abreast of the latest weather.

There are many variables in “catching fish.” Just because you go fishing does not mean you are going to catch. There is some skill involved and some luck. One day can be great and the next can be just ok. That is fishing. The more you go the better chances are that you will catch fish. Our crew shows you what you should do, how to present your bait, and how to fight a fish. And as in most things in life, practice makes perfect.

A charter is where the whole boat gets rented for one particular group. A Party or Head Boat, also known as an Open Boat, are where individuals fish with the public. We provide both types of trips. A charter must be booked more than one week in advance and our Open Boat trips can start to book within seven days of any trip.

We provide parking free of charge. Our designated parking area is towards the rear of the lot head in facing the water. Please park close enough to cars as to not take up too much space. If our lot is full, there is ample free parking before you pull in our driveway though the boat yard.

Probably not! Our boats handle waves and wakes well. Each person has a different reaction to the motion of the boat. If you feel you may be susceptible to motion sickness, inquire with your doctor about an over the counter or prescription medication that will alleviate the problem prior to sailing, so be sure to plan ahead if you are prone to seasickness.

A couple of things. You may take the fish home whole, or have the crew fillet them. Of course, you may also practice catch and release. We offer bags for the fish.

Yes, the deck hands are available for fillet services in the stern of the boat on the return to port.

Absolutely, deck hands depend on their tips to supplement their livelihoods. Gratuities are not included in the regular fare or in the fish cleaning. The customary tip for the mate on boat trips usually ranges from 15% to 20% of the chartered price of the boat or the price of an open party boat ticket. Mates work very hard to assist anglers throughout the day and they are on board the boat hours before departure and spend hours after arriving back at the dock in order to clean the boat and provide a comfortable ride to everyone.

Buckets are provided. You may bring along a bucket or cooler to keep fish fresh. Ice is available at the dock prior to departure and upon return.
